Exclusive Kyoto curates private cultural experiences and concierge services in Kyoto. All experiences are subject to availability and confirmation. Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
Reservations are confirmed only after written confirmation from Exclusive Kyoto. Prices, availability, itineraries, and inclusions may change prior to confirmation.
Certain experiences require advance arrangements with our trusted partners and may be unavailable due to scheduling, seasonal circumstances, or unforeseen events.
Guests are expected to provide accurate information during the booking process and to comply with any instructions or etiquette applicable to the experiences they attend.
Many of our experiences take place in private cultural venues. Guests are expected to respect local customs, hosts, performers, and private property throughout their visit.
Access to many of our experiences is made possible through longstanding relationships built on mutual trust. We kindly ask all guests to act with courtesy and respect to help preserve these special opportunities for future visitors.
Certain experiences may be subject to additional requirements or guidelines due to the nature of the venue, cultural setting, or arrangements with our partners. Such requirements will be communicated to guests prior to or at the time of booking and form part of these Terms of Use.
For experiences involving an Ozashiki or other private cultural setting, the following additional requirements apply:
Children
If children are attending, a parent or legal guardian must remain seated and supervise them throughout the experience. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children do not run around, disturb the setting, or otherwise interfere with the experience or other guests.
Care of Property and Responsibility for Damages
Guests are expected to treat all venues, their property, and all participants with the utmost care and respect.
If a guest causes damage to a venue or its property, or causes injury or other harm to geiko, maiko, staff, or other persons involved in the experience, and a claim for compensation is made by the relevant venue or person, the guest may be held responsible for such damage or loss to the extent permitted by applicable law, including where the damage or harm results from the guest’s negligence or intentional conduct.
Payment instructions will be provided upon booking confirmation. Full payment is required in advance to secure your reservation.
Cancellation policies vary depending on the experience booked. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy or the cancellation terms provided at the time of booking.
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of Exclusive Kyoto or its licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
While we make every effort to provide exceptional experiences, Exclusive Kyoto shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, transportation disruptions, government actions, or other force majeure events.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Exclusive Kyoto’s liability arising from any booking shall not exceed the amount paid by the guest for the relevant experience.
Some experiences are delivered in cooperation with carefully selected cultural hosts and service providers. While we carefully curate these partners, Exclusive Kyoto is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party providers.
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms of Use or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kyoto, Japan.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any revisions will become effective upon publication on this website.
